    CAPS student Alexis Vance is one of three high school seniors from Johnson County who headed to an international science competition this month in Phoenix. Each won the spot to go as a grand prize winner competing against nearly 1,200 metrowide students in the 65th Annual Greater Kansas City Science and Engineering Fair.

    CAPS and Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy student Gabi Cabell was recently recognized by Phil Witt at Fox 4 News as a Reaching 4 Excellence student. “Drive is something I’ve learned from CAPS,” says Gabi. “To push myself to figure out what I want to do with my life.”
